⭐️⭐️⭐️Here’s a good example why I got into reviews... I took to online for reviews on straighteners immediately once mine suddenly broke, but finding a clear specific answer didn’t come as quick or easy as I thought.
Even the employee at the licensed wholesaler was a bit of a dud. Her response to my questions were “I don’t really know.” My distinct impatient trait didn’t have time to waste. The unanswered “I don’t know’s” to my questions sufficed. I bought the @cloudninec9 Straightener.
I tried it. & then I returned it.
The biggest difference between The Cloud Nine Touch & The Original Cloud Nine Iron, aside from the obvious tap to change temperature, The Touch is more affordable with only two heat settings of 165 & 195. The Standard Iron I purchased with seven settings in total went to a maximum heat of 200.
This was the biggest down fall for me. I emphasize ME. I cannot give this product a poor rating just because it did not work for my hair type or preference as it may work great for someone with finer hair.
There was nothing wrong with the hair tool or faulty.
In fact, I’d probably recommend this for the fine hair type.
For my thick, course hair I style at a temperature of a minimum of 400 but upwards of 450. Therefore I was going over a strand anywhere from two to three times. Almost tripling the time it takes me to curl my hair with a straightener.
A considered low maintenance routine that takes me a half hour was extended to an hour & a half.
After all of that hard work, my curls didn’t stay, in fact I had to use hairspray & far more than I like to have.
With my regular routine, I practically never use hairspray unless I’m getting really dolled up for a special occasion. Between the straightener, temperature & technique my style will last me until my next shampoo that can range anywhere from 3-5 days with maybe a two minute touch up in between days. Hence my “low maintenance” classification.
If I didn’t use hairspray with the Cloud Nine Iron, my hair would have fell flat within 20 minutes of stepping outside into the damp weather, let alone until my next shampoo. Go to www.relentlessrosereviews.com for detailed reviews.
