But what most people actually don’t know is what is happening in the body and why the weight fluctuates on a daily basis. - 👇Let’s dive a little deeper into it, why does the scale fluctuate on a daily basis?! - First, you might’ve weighed in earlier than usual. When you weigh in earlier than usual, there might still be some food left in your stomach, don’t worry. It’s food. It’s not bodyfat. Okay? Good! - Water retention is a big one, eating more sodium and or more carbs in a day that usual will cause your body to hold on to water and even having a very good workout the day before can cause your body to hold onto water!! But heck, who cares about water weight? I certainly don’t and you shouldn’t too!!!! - You ate later at night than usual. This means you’re getting a distorted view on the scale the next morning because there’s still food in your stomach. You shouldn’t care about that because it’s food. It’s not bodyfat. - You might need to take a dump. Go take a dump and step on the scale again. Boom 1-2-3 lbs lost. Nobody cares about that weight. - Main take-away of this post: The scale is a good progress measurement tool, if you know how to use it. Unfortunately most people don’t know how to use it. You now know.

Being natural and staying leanISH (this photo was taken as soon as I rolled out of bed) while gaining muscle tissue!! 👇🏻👇🏻 Be lean to start with! There’s no point starting a “bulk” when you’re already 30% body fat as you’ll only be able to add size for a small amount of time before having to ease off on the calories as it can have a negative effect on overall health, along with heaps of other issues. Aim to add weight slowly, like really slowly. I have been in a calorie surplus MOST DAYS for around 3 years now. I tent to structure my calories/macros so I eat 2 days a week at maintenance (generally non training days) 3 days slightly above maintenance and 2 I have extra calories and eat whatever I feel like (within reason) just for the mental benefits. Not going into details on macros etc in this post! Get yourself a GOOD coach, speak with a nutritionist and just do it. Stop cutting 1000 calories, then adding 1000 calories every 2 weeks. An URGENT call was put out to organise desperately needed supplies for farmers in Tintaldra who had been fighting fires since early December. With absolutely no AID or assistance going out to them until yesterday, thanks to our efforts in collecting urgent supplies with the Animal Rescue Collective. This particular farmer had already buried 16 of her beloved babies and condemned 40 severely burnt well bred gentle cattle to the abattoir. We knew we had to help the remaining starving animals before it was to late. When I saw the cattle eating out of the troughs my husband built I was overwhelmed with emotion. They said they'd never seen troughs as good as these and were thankful these ones won't melt in the fires to come 😭 We organised 500kg of calf milk powder for all the calfs who had to be weaned off their mother's to early. BIG THANK YOU TO @vitafarmvic for helping us get all of that and throwing in an extra 100kgs. BIG THANK YOU TO @calmoseptine_inc for donating just over 500 full size tubes of burn cream to go towards assisting all the animals with burns and human's to. Special thank you to my amazing friends for you're incredibly generous donations that helped me assist these farmers in need. We all did a good thing 🐄🐄🐄🐄 and because of us these animals from several farms in the region will live.
